Honey-dripped photography by Blake Little
On the set with award winning Los Angeles-based photographer Blake Little creating the photographs for his new monograph Preservation book. Edited by Bil Yoelin Blake, the book will be featured in an upcoming exhibit at Kopeikin Gallery in Los Angeles (Mar.7- Apr.18, 2015).
quote ["When you cover someone in the honey, it has the effect of making them look like they’re in amber—that they’re preserved," Little says. "And that’s how I came up with the idea and started calling the pictures the preservation photographs"].

Tree Change Dolls
Tree Change Dolls is a project about taking old discarded toys and giving them a new lease on life, cerated by an artist, illustrator and science communicator based in Hobart, Tasmania. Facebook.
quote: "...these dolls have been rescued and rehabilitated from op-shops and tip shops around Tasmania. These lil fashion dolls have opted for a "tree change", swapping high-maintenance glitz 'n' glamour for down-to-earth style. I hand repaint the dolls faces, mold new shoes, and my Mum sews and knits their clothing. My sisters and I grew up playing with second-hand dolls and home-made toys in the beautiful Tasmanian natural environment. I love the satisfaction of repairing and reusing discarded items to give them a new lease on life".

Dominik Sky can jump through anything
Check out Dominik Sky’s impressive “Window Jumps” 2014 showreel! Dominik Starašinič (Dominik Sky) is a free runner from Slovenia. Stunts, parkour, street workout, calisthenics, acro street, mma etc. (All the videos).
quote [I'm Dominik Sky and love free running, parkour, calisthenics, and every kind of physical training. 3run means everything to me. I've been doing it for 7 years now. What I love most are high epic tricks and jumps. I realise they are not very good for your joints but with the right landing technique and conditioning it's not really that dangerous].

quote [I hate meeting new people and getting involved in engaging conversations. Despise good food and wine. Living abroad sucked, and I don't miss it. Abhor well-written and enlightening literature. Love all forms of fundamentalists and their irrational faith. Hate the beach, fires in the fire pit, and autumn colors/smells/weather. Being surrounded by people I love really pisses me off. Motorcycles - you know, that whole freedom and wind thing... yeah, an odious experience. Animals are for kicking, not petting. And anything intellectually enrapting is for idiots. In fact, book-burners should be made saints; that library in Alexandria deserved to become a pile of ash. Cemeteries are ugly, and so are forests, rivers, deserts, canyons, seas, and sunsets. Sex is terrible, and cuddling is for pussies. Comfort is far and away better than truth. Beautiful women make me nauseous. And sarcasm, sarcasm is stupid. As is alliteration].
